Social Studies Office
Abstract
The objectives of social studies office as the one of research offices of Majlis Research Center are as follows:
- Preparing necessary ways for good and useful consideration on good enforcement of laws,
- Research activities concerning the bills which are proposed by the representatives of Islamic Consultative Assembly,
- Using available statistics, information, and researches concerning related issues to administrative and employment affairs, occupation, employment, job, labor relations,
co-operation, health, treatment, relief, social welfare, social security, social health insurance and the red crescent to affect representatives' decision makings process.
Description
Social studies office began its work in the beginning of 1384. Before this office is established, the related issues to this office almost were being done by two social and healthy and treatment committees of economic studies office.
All activities of this office are on the basis of providing research and information needs of two social and health and treatment committees of Islamic Consultative Assembly which consists of assigned functions concerning administrative and employment affairs, job, occupation, labor relations, cooperation, health, treatment, relief, social welfare, social security, social health insurance and the red crescent.
At present, this office has four research groups as below:
1. Health and Treatment group
2. Employment affairs, labor relations and welfare group
3. Education group
4. Education and Research group.
